Life As A Man.

Life as a man, what a curious thing

A journey of strength, of courage, of recklessness

We are taught to be tough and never show our pain

To always be in control, to never complain

But behind the facade, there's so much more

Our hearts beat just as fiercely, our minds just as complex

We too have fears and doubts, hopes and dreams

Yet society tells us, only on the surface we should be seen

We are expected to provide, to protect, to lead

And if we fall short, we're deemed less than a man

But who's to say what truly defines masculinity

Is it our physical prowess or our emotional capacity?

We are told to be strong, but what about our tears

They do not make us weak, they show we have a heart

And vulnerability, it takes true strength to display

To open up our souls and let the world see us this way

Life as a man, it's not an easy path to tread

We face challenges and struggles, doubts and dread

But in the midst of it all, we find moments of pride

When we stand tall and true, by our own side

Let's break free from the stereotypes that bind

And embrace the fullness of our humankind

For life as a man is not just one thing

It's a beautiful, complex, and ever-evolving being.
